Florence : "The blooming city"

Updated: Dec 15, 2018

Our next destination in Italy, was Florence. Unfortunately we stayed there for only 2 days. The charming city of artists and the capital of Tuscany, does not leave any visitor unimpeded. There are too many museums in Florence so it's impossible to get it all back especially if you go there for only a few days. Also we believe that it is more important to feel the rhythm of the city, to taste their amazing handmade pasta and to drink their traditional drinks.

One of the most popular caffés of the city is “Ditta Artigianale” located in Via dei Neri. A really modern and cozy place , perfect to start your day. Definitely a must-see when in Florence! It has has a really good coffee and delicious croissants, desserts and very tasty food. We ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes and the French toast coffee there.

One of our favorite place was the Mercato Centrale. It's like a huge warehouse with lots of tortoises and caffés. You can buy various kinds of delicatessen, Italian cold cuts and cheeses, pasta or eat in one of the many restaurants. We had the chance there to discover more traditional and Italian dishes. A picture paints a thousand words :
